I recently had lunch here and the food was unbelievable, the best brisket ever, the sliced pork outrageous. Tonight we go there for take out (dinner), the pork was pulled & dried out, the brisket was good but all I got was 6little pieces, nothing like my first experience. It was a totally a different experience. I called the store after we ate since my husband and I were schocked at the difference in quality and quantity of food. I asked if the three meat was the same as the Miss Piggy, she went on to correct the Name for the three meat plate, but said the three meats is the same portions. She also stated they use to give 8oz of meet but they've cut down to 6oz (they should ad use if portions are smaller) I can tell you I did not get 6oz of brisket, btw the risked was good. The young man preparing the meat looked overwhelmed and lost. Overall this was not a good experience, I will stick with Sonnys on Williston road, in Gainesville at least they have table service 7days a week and the food is consistent

I don't know what the hell the owner was thinking when he made his menu! It's over priced and not enough for the big $$ you have to dish out. The only thing that's good about this place is the looks it has on the outside and the seating.

Best bbq I have had yet! So delicious. Cute little place and very kid friendly. Everything on their menu looks so delicious. I wish they had corn nuggets though. They probably could have given more fries. Seemed a little light on my plate.

Confusing place, kinda reminded me of Moe's but nobody welcomed us... I thought this was a regular restaurant, but you have to walk through the line and order your food on the go! Is this to save on employee's wages? I could see where lots of money was spent on the building, inside as well as outside; we came for the food however and that was a bit of a hassle we were not quite ready for. We went to Sonny's instead, so I could not tell you if the food was up to my high expectations unfortunately...

We have been to Tom's TWICE and it is nothing short of OUTSTANDING!! If you haven't had the Philly sandwich with the brisket and tenderloin on it, you are seriously missing out! If you are in the area, and hungry...try out Tom's. You will be impressed. We LOVE it !!

Really enjoyed my first visit here. I've had their catering at parties before, but this was my first time in the restaurant. The atmosphere was fun and fit the bill for a BBQ place. Our server was responsive and helpful. I tried the 3 sampler slider plate so I could try 3 meats. All were moist and flavorful. I got the brisket, turkey and pulled pork. All were good, but the pork was my favorite. For the sides we tried collards and mac n cheese. They were both very good. The neat thing about this place is they are set up with a pavilion for parties and a little putt putt course. It seems like a fun place for families to enjoy the evening.

Tom's High on the Hog is a wonderful new place. My family and I have had dinner and lunch here several times since the opening and have not been disappointed yet. First, the location and building are both wonderful. Not stuck in the middle of town and surrounded by every other restaurant. The building is gorgeous and every detail is amazing. The hand wash sink in the dining room is adorable! The parking area is huge and there is also a fenced in area for families with small children to sit and eat while the kids play on fantastic wooden toys. Very thoughtful if you ask me. Lots of shade trees for outdoor dining, which we prefer, as well as a covered patio with ceiling fans with both picnic tables and beautiful bar top tables. The food, my goodness the food. The smell hits you first as you step out of your car. Delicious smoked meat! You walk in with flavors dancing around your mouth just imagining the food. I have had the smokehouse burger which is to die for. Huge, meaty, and bursting with juicy flavor. I could not finish it or the crispy fries that come with it. My hubby got the brisket which is his favorite as well as bbq beans and French fries. He of course ate it all with gusto and was very full. My daughter got the huge BLT and by no means could finish it. My other daughter got the pork sandwich on a bun with greens and mashed potatoes. Omg was it yummy! (probably why I couldn't finish mine as I ate most of theirs! I see that others mentioned small portions, I did not experience that at all. The portion was perfect, just enough. I think that people are just getting used to the fast food over potion sizes that are what's causing most people to be over weight. Also, the trays with paper, excellent idea. Less wasted plastic and Styrofoam to fill the landfills, plus no dirty dishes. Toms is staying "green" as well as serving top notch food! Thanks guys! All in all, wonderful experience from start to finish. Will be dining here often and my goal is to try every item on the menu. Best wishes for a long and prosperous life in keystone!

Tom's has a great atmosphere and excellent barbecue. Their staff is friendly and seem to enjoy what they do. We've been there several times and can't complain about any of the meats. They are serving good cuts of meat, and know how to make barbecue with a great flavor. We went after they first opened and several times since. They have made several improvements, including changing the portion sizes, and tweaking the sides. I'm not nuts about any of their sides and don't eat their bread, so can't comment on those. We don't care so much for the serving the food on paper on trays, but we agree that it's a greener option and isn't a real issue with us. The tea is really good and the self serve drink/utensil area is wide and spaced generously. We hate the picnic tables. I took a star just because of them. They are difficult to get in and out of if you aren't young and nimble. I hope they will add some other type of seating for those who really can't comfortably sit at the picnic tables. The parking and outside areas were well thought out. They have room for big vehicles as well as small, and bike parking. The bathrooms are neat, clean, and they do keep the surfaces clean. We will go back.

We tried to eat there for the New Years Eve buffet, but the few items at the buffet were overcooked and all dried out, so we left without ordering, then decided to come back last night for a meal (Wed). High expectations that soon came crashing down to zero. This place is cute on the outside and inside, the staff is friendly but the food is overpriced, dried out, and small portions are all you get. Nothing compared to Johnny's nearby BBQ where we have never gotten a bad meal. Worse, there were meal serving etiquette problems - we ordered as a couple - my wife ordered smoked turkey breast dinner plate and a side and I ordered the expensive 1/2 lb smoked burger as a cheeseburger. The staff brought my wife her food 6 minutes before me, while mine was cooking, which is bad form and never done in a restaurant - my wife went ahead and ate in front of me to keep her turkey from getting cold, but it was overly dry and the mashed potatoes were like a school lunch portion. To top that off, the cook brings me my supposed-to-be-cooked-medium-so-its still-juicy Smoked Cheeseburger out afterwards, only to have him personally reveal, after its too late, that they were out of the 1/2 lb. patties, so he grilled me two 1/4 lb patties instead and made me the equivalent of a Big Mac. He never thought to ask if that menu change was OK with me - I was looking forward to a nice thick juicy burger and got a well done just OK double cheeseburger for the price of a gourmet one. Not what I wanted and not what I paid for. Besides, you can get a 1/3 lb burger at Hardees for a lot less than $8.And, it was just OK. Just OK for an $8 burger. The fries are those artery-clogging batter coated ones that are just OK. I would not normally order those, preferring the ones that arent battered. So, our evening was a big disappointment. The food was just OK. The tea was too strong and at the end, while we liked the atmosphere, we wished we had just gone to Johnnys instead. We like to support new restaurants in the area (such as the Brooklyn Bros. Italian restaurant), but this one needs some work on the menu and food quality and portion size. Otherwise, I fear it will be going out of business soon. That said, if you like ribs, and you only want to eat ribs, they do have an AYCE ribs plate. I dont like ribs, so I will pass on Tom's from now on. By the way, they acronymically spell All You Can Eat as AUCE, which bugs those of us who really can read.

I heard Tom's finally opened and took the bike out for a ride down to check things out. First off, Tom set aside some space for motorcycle parking right out front. It's awesome to have dedicated bike parking, but Tom also has a HUGE parking lot with space designated to park 4-wheelers and trucks towing boats. There's no doubt these folks know who their customers are. The place is sparkling brand new. Several tables outside for when the weather's nice as well as inside seating with picnic tables all around. They take your order at the front counter and you walk/follow your try as they load you up, and you pay as you take your tray. Cafeteria style for the most part, except they pass the tray along. You can definitely see their catering roots here. Some reviews on here mentioned disappointing servings.....but I'm thinking the owners have taken note. I ordered two "The Squealer" dinners, which is their pulled pork plate, both with fries, baked beans and Texas toast. The meats and beans were separately placed in individual cups/trays, and the fries were piled up high on the tray together. I can't complain about the portion size, as we were very full by the end of the meal, and we didn't make it though all the fries. The portions for the price seemed very fair. All in all, the pricing seemed to compare to the other big BBQ chains.....most of which have smaller servings than at Tom's. I wish I'd taken a picture. Next time for sure. The pork was juicy, tender and flavorful. I highly recommend the baked beans, as this is one of the items Tom is known for. NO ONE does baked beans like Tom. The fries and toast were great as well. The Texas toast was a larger, thicker piece of toasted seasoned bread. Very tasty. I would've liked another slice of toast with the larger dinner plate. The un-skinned fries were well seasoned, tasty and plentiful. As we were eating, Cathy, one of the owners, came out and checked on us asking how everything was and if we needed anything. Also to chat us up a little about the riding weather. (It was a beautiful day for a ride) All in all, the staff was fantastic, friendly and super eager to make it a great lunch. This is definitely the best BBQ place in the area.

Good atmosphere , pretty nice place. The food is not the best, very inconsistent quality. They need work on the side dishes; they bring the meal quality down. Over cooked vegetables , mushy consistancy, maccaroni looks like it comes from a can the barbecue is fair one time amd not good the next. Could be the greatest place if they would work on quality and consistency .
